Day 1: Cusco | Imperial Acclimatization & The Four Ruins
Your journey begins in the “Navel of the World.” To ensure proper altitude adjustment, we focus on the Upper Cusco Archaeological Circuit.
Sites Visited: The megalithic fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the limestone labyrinth of Qenqo, the “Red Fort” of Puka Pukara, and the sacred water fountains of Tambo Machay.
Expert Insight: These sites offer a technical look at Inca hydraulic engineering and military architecture before you head into the wilderness.
Day 2: Sacred Valley | Living Heritage & Agricultural Innovations
Transition into the heart of the Sacred Valley to explore the genius of Inca land management.
Chinchero: Witness a live demonstration of Quechua textile arts, using ancestral dyes and weaving looms.
Moray & Maras: Explore the circular agricultural terraces of Moray (an ancient bio-research station) and the shimmering Maras Salt Ponds, which have been harvested by hand since the 1400s.
Ollantaytambo: Scale the Sun Temple in this “living Inca town” before resting in the valley’s warmer climate.

Day 3: The Llama Trek Begins | Yanahuara to Auroray Cocha
Trade the roads for the trails. We depart from Ensifera Camp (3,300m) and begin our ascent with our llama team.
The Experience: Hike through the Mantanay Valley, passing through rare Polylepis (Queñua) forests and glacial streams.
High Point: Reach the turquoise shores of Lake Auroray Cocha (4,480m) for a premium camping experience under the Andean stars.

Day 4: Cultural Immersion | Huayruruyoc Pass to Patacancha
Cross the high-altitude Huayruruyoc Pass (4,600m) for panoramic views of the Vilcanota Range before descending into a different world.
Community Connection: Arrive at Patacancha, a remote Quechua-speaking village. Here, we participate in the daily lives of families dedicated to alpaca herding and ancestral agriculture.
The Vibe: This is “True Peru”—raw, authentic, and untouched by mass tourism.

Day 5: The Sacred Path | Short Inca Trail to the Sun Gate
We transition from the high highlands to the lush cloud forest.
The Hike: From Km 104, we ascend to Wiñay Wayna, the most beautiful archaeological site on the trail.
The Moment: Unlike the crowded bus entry, you will enter Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) at golden hour, capturing the citadel as the crowds begin to leave.
Stats: 13 km (8.07 miles) | 6–7 hours.
Day 6: The Grand Finale | Sunrise at Machu Picchu
A comprehensive 3-hour interpretive tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Detail: Your guide will navigate you through the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Royal Quarters, explaining the astronomical and spiritual significance of the site.
Return: Enjoy a celebratory lunch in Aguas Calientes before a scenic Vistadome train journey back toward Cusco.
Day 7: Farewell to the Andes
A final morning to soak in the atmosphere of San Blas or the San Pedro Market.
