DAY 1: CUSCO, CAPULIYOC, PLAYA ROSALINAS TO SANTA ROSA
We will pick you up at the hotel in the early morning and travel by private transportation to Cachora (2890 m/9482 ft.), where we will stop for breakfast. Afterward, we will drive to the trailhead at Capuliyoc (2945 m/9662 ft), where we are going to start to hike with the beautiful views of the Apurimac valley and the spectacular views of the snowcapped peaks. After 30 minutes of hiking, we will reach the view point of Capuliyoc. We will continue down into the Apurimac Canyon until we get to Chiquiska (1878 m/6161 ft.) for a little rest before continuing to Playa Rosalinas (1470 m/4822 ft.), where we will have our delicious lunch. After lunch, we will hike toward Santa Rosa (1960 m/6430 ft.), where the tents will be ready.

DAY 2: SANTA ROSA, MARAMPATA, AND CHOQUEQUIRAO
Savor a hearty breakfast to set you up for a productive day exploring Peru’s stunning scenery. Ascend to the elevated village of Marampata, nestled at 2900 meters above sea level. Delight in the journey as much as the destination, allowing yourself moments to absorb the awe-inspiring scenery and the allure of the Choquequirao Inca site.
After a leisurely ascent, at approximately 3100 meters, you’ll reach the historical marvel of Choquequirao. Take a respite and relish a well-deserved lunch amidst the ancient ruins, allowing ample time to explore and appreciate their significance. Immerse yourself in the diverse flora and fauna of the region, where sightings of majestic condors soaring across the azure skies are not uncommon.

DAY 3: CHOQUEKIRAO TO CHIQUISKA
Get up early to take advantage of the day, fueled by a hearty breakfast that sets you up for the incredible ride that lies ahead. Choquequirao was our target; it was about 3.5 kilometers from our tent.
Anticipation mounts as we arrive before the break of dawn, greeted by the enigmatic ruins of Choquequirao. Accompanied by our knowledgeable tour guide, delve into the rich history of this revered Inca sanctuary, immersing yourself in tales of its significance and legacy. With approximately three hours dedicated to the exploration, every step unveils a new layer of the past.
Having absorbed the wonders of Choquequirao, our descent commences, leading us back to Marampata for a well-deserved reprieve. Following a satisfying lunch in Santa Rosa, our journey continues, tracing the path downward to Playa Rosalina, where the rhythm of the river serenades our descent.
With the day’s adventures far from over, we ascend once more, following the winding trails to Chiquiska. Here, nestled amidst the verdant embrace of nature, awaits our campsite, a sanctuary under the stars where stories of the day’s exploits are shared and cherished.

DAY 4: CHIQUISKA, CAPULIYOC TO CUSCO
A hearty breakfast will be served before embarking on a thrilling climb to Capuliyoc, a stunning destination at 2945m / 9,662 ft. After a well-deserved break, a delicious lunch will be served to replenish energy levels. The journey back to Cusco is a comfortable ride, allowing time to reminisce about the unforgettable experiences and stunning landscapes encountered during the trek.
