Terms & Conditions

Booking Terms And Conditions

Please take your time to carefully read our booking terms and conditions before booking a tour with Juve Travel Peru to avoid any inconvenience. These terms and conditions apply to any trip products or services purchased from Juve Travel Peru.

Booking Contract with you

These terms and conditions apply to your booking and our supply of tour services to you. The contract is the entire agreement between you and us in relation to its subject matter.
A booking is confirmed, and the terms will apply when Juve Travel Peru has received the applicable deposit from the client and the client has the booking confirmation from Juve Travel Peru. The client signing the booking form warrants that she or he has full authority on behalf of all other clients named on the booking and has communicated all necessary information to the other clients. The client who confirmed the booking is deemed to be the designated contact person for all other clients named.

Prices and surcharges

The tour prices are the prices quoted on our website. The published price of any tour is subject to change at any time. We may increase the cost of the tour due to factors over which we have no control: government action, currency fluctuation, transportation costs (cost of fuel), increases in entrance fees, train fares, taxes, or any other increases. Any surcharge or decrease will be explained and justified by us.

Deposit requirement to confirm a booking

Once you confirm your booking, any tour is non-refundable and non-transferable (varies based on the tour), as applicable, per person per tour. The deposit allows us to purchase items such as entrance fees and train tickets. Once we have made the reservations with the government authorities, it is impossible to change any details of the reservation (e.g., name, passport number, or departure date).

Final Payment and acceptance of booking

Payment of the balance for any tour is due 15 days before the tour departure date. As soon as we receive the full payment, we will send you an email reconfirming your booking. If the tour is booked less than 15 days before the departure date, full payment is due. If the full payment or balance is not paid on or before the departure date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.

Cancelation by the client

Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing by notifying us, and the applicable cancellation fees will be determined based on when the request is received by Juve Travel Peru. The initial deposit is non-refundable.

The client is responsible for any fees or charges incurred by the cancellation.

Cancellations received 45 days or more before the tour start date: 60% of the total amount shall be refunded to the client.

Cancellations received 30–15 days before the tour start date: Loss of 60% of the total tour price

Cancellations received less than 15 days before the tour start: No refund shall be payable to the client.

Cancelation by Juve Travel Peru

Juve Travel Peru is a professional, responsible tour operator with an excellent reputation for quality and service. We have no intention of canceling any of our scheduled tours that have been booked by a client. In case it becomes impossible to do the planned tour due to situations outside of Juve Travel Peru’s control (e.g., extreme weather conditions, landslides, strikes, inaccessibility of route, etc.), Juve Travel Peru will propose viable solutions to operate within the available dates, or, if impossible, will then propose an alternative tour. In the event Juve Travel Peru has to cancel your tour due to failure or inability to purchase your tour permit, we will notify you by email as soon as we become aware of such matters. We may offer an alternative tour departure date if we have one available. If an alternative date is not acceptable, we will refund your tour payment to your card of payment via PayPal.

Travel Documents

To confirm your tour arrangements, you must provide all the requested details. Please make sure that your passport is valid for the time you intend to travel with us. Furthermore, assure us that the passport details you sent us via email are correct. Changes on short notice will complicate the entrance to Machu Picchu and any other destinations.

Please note the following: We will use the passport information you provide us in your booking form to reserve Inca Trail permits, hotels, and flights. If you change or renew your passport, please be sure to carry the old passport and the new one.

Acceptance of Risk

Booking any of our adventure trips means you assume the risks associated with them. Juve Peru Travel accepts no responsibility for these. The client acknowledges that the nature of the tour is adventurous and that such activities may involve a significant amount of personal risk.

Travel insurance

All clients must have personal travel insurance. This insurance must cover personal accidents, medical expenses, loss of effects, and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, or injury to the client. Juve Travel Peru cannot be held responsible for any accident or loss of personal belongings the customer causes by his or her actions.

Authority on Tour

The decision of the company’s guide or representative will be final on all matters likely to endanger the safety and well-being of the tour group. The client must strictly comply with all laws, customs, foreign exchange, and drug regulations of all countries visited, and you also agree to travel under our responsible travel guidelines. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a guide or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the group, the guide or company representative may direct you to leave the tour immediately.

Claims and complaints

If you have a complaint about your trip, please inform your tour leader or company representative at the time so they can attempt to rectify the matter. If the matter is not resolved by these means, any further complaints should be given to us in writing within five days of the end of the tour.

External problems

Juve Travel Peru has vast experience in the tourist industry, so we understand that unexpected situations could happen. So, in case of pandemics, earthquakes, or political problems, we will be happy to help you change your date for the future trip without paying additional fees (within one year after your original trip date). Juve Travel Peru doesn’t offer cash refunds in case unpredictable situations happen.

I have taken ample time to read the booking terms and conditions. I have fully understood it, and I agree to the terms and conditions.
